Shilpa Bhagat to represent India at Mrs. World 2013 The Tiara’s Shilpa Bhagat is the Indian Ambassador to the World’s most prestigious Beauty Pageant for married Women that is the Mrs World Beauty Pageant. Formatted in 1985 is one of World’s oldest Beauty Pageants headquartered in California State of USA. Mrs World 2013 will be held at Guangzhou, China from 14th Nov till 23 Nov 2013.

The Tiara’s Shilpa Bhagat is the Indian Ambassador to the World’s most prestigious Beauty Pageant for married Women that is the Mrs World Beauty Pageant. Formatted in 1985 is one of World’s oldest Beauty Pageants headquartered in California State of USA.  Mrs World 2013 will be held at Guangzhou, China from 14th Nov till 23 Nov 2013.


Shilpa Bhagat is a resident of Mumbai, a loving wife and mother, co- founder of a charitable institution, and now the reigning Mrs. India. World 2013. This beauty comes with brains too; Shilpa is a gold medallist from the Jadhavpur University and has completed her post graduation in Finance from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development. She then worked with HDFC bank in their Financial Institutions Group in Mumbai for a couple of years

Shilpa is also the co-founder of The Cuddles foundation. The Foundation’s work is focused on improving the lives of children from low income groups by giving them access to best medical equipment, medicines and an environment that aid faster recovery. Shilpa has been associated with the foundation from inception and has been instrumental in its growth.

“Being a mother of 4 year old twins, I understand the importance of balancing my time between social work; active development of my children; being a good home-maker as well as continually enhancing my own skills. Fortunately I have the support of my loving husband and family” Says Shilpa Bhagat.
Her other hobbies include dancing, solving Mensa puzzles and playing poker. Shilpa's  husband Karan Bhagat is an alumnus of IIM Bangalore and is currently the MD and CEO of IIFL Private Wealth Management -one of  India's largest wealth management firms .After a gruelling nomination and selection process spanning over three months Shilpa has been declared  as India’s representative to the Mrs. World pageant in China. Celebrity Pageant Coach Ms. Ritika Ramtri mentored and trained Shilpa at her famed Tiara academy in Pune

She was also the trainer of Miss Kerala 2008 and 2011 and was the National Director of Miss Intercontinental 2010. It is one of the only institutes in India which trains pageant contestants to perfection.
